Ready to leave 2020 in the rear view mirror?

It’s no secret that this has been the most challenging year for our club. Marking so many of our regular events as cancelled (some permanently, such as the Station House Brunch Run in Point Reyes) was painful as the months went by. But we had our first ‘no-touch’ rally because one of our members Jim Robison put together a creative response to being socially and physically distanced, and it was great fun.

What would YOU like to see on the road ahead in 2021? We know that COVID precautions will be in place for longer than we would like but driving your Porsche with a grin on your unmasked face meets all the guidelines even with the top down!

Your Board of Directors will watch for opportunities to responsibly socialize but we would LOVE to hear your ideas for 2021! How, you ask? We are always happy to hear from you, but we will have two specific opportunities in the immediate future: our annual calendar planning meeting, and our annual members meeting.

Thursday the week before Thanksgiving (Nov 19) will be our calendar / event ideas meeting, at 6:30 pm, this year over Zoom. Two days later Saturday Nov 21 at 11 am will be our members meeting, also over Zoom.

At the members meeting, we will review the status of the club and introduce candidates for offices and describe how to vote online but will have plenty of time to hear from YOU. In the meantime if you have any specific ideas, interests, or would like to know more about how you can be more active in Redwood Region, please email me.
