March 2024 President’s Message

Happy Anniversary Redwood Region! 2024 is our 55^th year as a PCA Region. The board is working on a summer celebration. We should have details shortly. I would love to hear from any of the original members with stories, photos or memorabilia to share with the Region.

Last weekend David and I attended the Zone President’s meeting and annual award dinner on behalf of Redwood Region. We were surprised and truly honored to be named the “2023 Enthusiasts of the Year”. Congratulations also to Thorsten & Simone Kopinsky for winning the Overall Concours Award. Thank you, Simone for being the Zone concours co-chair. Your efforts are truly appreciated.

We are in the process of changing the location of the monthly Board meetings. We have outgrown our room at Mary’s and they have recently changed their hours making it difficult to complete a meeting on a weeknight. We are in final negotiations with a new restaurant in Petaluma. Board members will be notified of the time and location. All members are welcome. If you were planning on attending the March meeting please reach out to our secretary, Eileen Gaines, who will make sure you are notified of the time and location.

We have plenty of great events on the calendar – hope to see you at one soon.
