July 2024 President’s Message

This year marks our 55th anniversary as a PCA Region. Where better to celebrate the Redwood Region than in the Redwoods. Mark your calendars for August 24th for a social and luncheon at the picturesque Chenoweth Woods. Details and registration will be available shortly.

We would love to see any charter members and past Presidents in attendance. If you have any memorabilia or stories to share I would love to hear from you.

The following weekend we will continue our celebration with a tour to Nickel & Nickel Winery. This event will be very limited so be sure to watch the Redwood calendar and website for the registration opening.

As we take time to reflect on our Region’s history we also need to look to the future. Yes, it’s time to start thinking about the 2025 Board of Directors. The Executive Council are all willing to continue but we have some appointed Board positions that will be available.

I won’t deny there is work involved but it is fun and rewarding. The more involved you get the more you will enjoy the Club. It takes a great organization to be around for 55 years and Redwood Region is amazing. Let’s keep going for another 55 years.
