October 2025 President’s Message

by | Oct 12, 2025

September was a great month for Redwood Region. There were a few very memorable events thanks to the hard work of some dedicated Board members.

First was the PCA 70th Anniversary Celebration at the Culinary Institute. Pat Bruke put on a wonderful event for over 100 Redwood members and coordinated with our neighbors at Golden Gate Region for another 100 of their members. What a beautiful day and fitting celebration of the Club that has brought us all together.

Another shout out to Stacy O’Connell whose dedication to AX brought us the 1st local Redwood event in over 10 years. It was so nice to see everyone having fun with a bit more spirited use of their car. Hopefully this was only the first of many in the future.

What can I say about the Murphy’s Tour. Jeff Hall does an amazing job of coordinating a weekend full of fun and still allowing time to relax. My highlight this year was painting with Kelly Telfer. I am a huge fan of his work and having the opportunity to take a lesson and paint with him was a blast.

We are not slowing down in October. Don’t forget this weekend is our annual Concours for the Zone 7 Series. Even if you are not participating come out to the Sonoma Plaza on the 12th to see the cars and visit with friends.

Our annual Members Social is the 25th at Northwoods Bistro. This year we have invited our 2025 New Members to join so we need all the experienced members to come out and show them what makes Redwood Region so much fun.

PCA is not just the cars it’s the people. You all make the events special. Come on out and show the new members just how much they will enjoy the people of Redwood Region.

Hope to see you there
