What is autocross?

Autocross is a timed driving event where you navigate a cone-marked course, one car at a time, in a large open space (like a parking lot, paddock, or airfield). It’s all about precision, car control, and having fun at safe speeds.

Cars run in competition classes based on model and modifications, and there’s often a “Fun” class for drivers who just want to give it a try. Every run is electronically timed, with small penalties for cones that get knocked over. The challenge is simple: improve your time, sharpen your skills, and maybe take home bragging rights. Instructors are available for new drivers, with in-car coaching to help you learn the course and build confidence.

Most importantly, autocross emphasizes safety, learning, and fun. It’s one of the safest — and most affordable — ways to explore the limits of your Porsche.

Autocross is a great way to:
  • Learn how to handle your Porsche at the limit

  • Experience your car the way it was designed to be driven

  • Build confidence and driving skill that carries over to the street

  • Get personalized instruction your first time out

  • Meet fellow enthusiasts and reconnect with friends

  • Share the day with your significant other (or bring them out to watch or drive)!
